Title IX Information

Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination based on sex education programs and activities in federally funded schools at all levels.

Ecorse Public Schools District does not discriminate on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, race, or national origin - in all aspects of our educational programs and activities for students and employees.  The district also protects students and employees from sexual harassment.  Ecorse Public Schools District has appointed Title IX Coordinators to comply with and carry out their responsibilities, including training and education, under Title IX.

If you have a question, concern, or complaint about possible sexual discrimination, contact one or both of our Title IX Coordinators.  Our Title IX Coordinators can provide you with information about the grievance procedure and investigate the complaint ensuring that complaints are resolved promptly and appropriately.
