At Ecorse High School, celebrating Black History Month is a time of reflection, learning, and unity. Students and staff come together to honor the rich history, culture, and achievements of Black individuals who have shaped our world. Through engaging activities like guest speakers, historical exhibits, and artistic performances, we recognize the resilience and contributions of Black leaders past and present. This month serves as an opportunity to educate, inspire, and foster a deeper appreciation for diversity and inclusion within our school community and we are so grateful for those who have paved the way!
