Workshop Title: “Supporting Your Child From the Cradle to the Stage”

Tuesday: Jan 31, 2023 (4:00 pm-5:30 pm)
Setting the Home Stage through Vision:
Using a hands-on approach, parents and participants will identify their family visions for the 2023 school year, and create a Vision Board to take home. Parents will develop a family vision board together with their children and family members at home on Family Night.
Thursday: Feb 2, 2023 (4:00-5:30 pm)
Setting the School Stage:
Parents and Participants will learn strategies for helping your child at home, through make-and-take reading and math flashcards.
Do you know your child’s learning style? (If your child is in 6th grade, do you know your child’s reading and math levels?)
Saturday: Feb 11, 2023 (12:00 pm-2:00 pm)
Setting the Stage for a Family Fun-Night:
Parents and Participants will learn strategies for a successful Family Fun Night. Table and board games will be explored. Dancing, art, and music will engage everyone. Learn how to have family fun at home with your child(ren)...it can be done!!
(Refreshments and materials will be provided!)
