Congratulations to the recipients from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades of this year's Principal's Award-well deserved and highly respected. And, congratulations to all the students on receiving certificates today at Bunche's Awards Ceremony.

The student's loved the neighborhood ice cream truck on our playground for the last PBIS reward for the year. Extra playtime + ice cream for good behavior!

Ralph J. Bunche can't thank the Ecorse Public Library enough for the commitment they have made to our students this year to continue bringing StoryTime to our 1st graders. Join them this summer at one of their scheduled events.

With just 5 short months of having Math Corps here at Bunche, we have our 1st student exiting the program. It takes dedication, commitment, and hard work and these ladies are proving it!

We had fun learning about and creating butterflies for our Bunche Bucks reward this week.

Mayor Tidwell came and surprised Ms. Williams and Ms. White for the Survivor Teacher Appreciation Challenge we have going on at Bunche. Community + Support = Ecorse Pride!

Our 4th graders spent the day on the water at the Detroit International Wildlife Refuge Water Festival and got to learn all about species found right here in Michigan.

Our 2nd student this week exits Reading Corps! Congratulations on all your hard work and effort over these last few months.

Another student exits Reading Corps! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication that goes into this program daily and results are showing.

Bunche's 3rd grade did an awesome hands-on lab dissecting owl pellets and discovered what owls ate and how the food web works first hand (notice the mouse skull in one of the pictures!).

Old school games with the Principal make lunchtime even more fun!
